A Gift to Students of the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy

The Capital Area Pharmacy Association Endowed Scholarship is presented to an active member of The University of Texas Academy of Students of Pharmacy (UT-ASP). The scholarship was created in 1995 and became fully endowed in 2000. Mark Zamutt, R.Ph., a student advocate and the 1994 – 1995 CAPA President, and Deborah Fernandez, R.Ph., the CAPA President-elect, were instrumental in establishing the scholarship to benefit pharmacy students who are nearing completion of their degree program. Since then, scholarships have been awarded to the following recipients:
